Relativity - for two percussionists (2015)

Relativity explores many different forms of temporal relationships. Throughout the piece, the music expands and contracts to conform to different allocations of space in time. Each section of the piece is characterized by a hierarchy of speed, meter, and timbre that is quickly interrupted by music of opposing parameters which occupies the same temporal space. The opposing music then redefines the character of the following section of the piece as the music continues to develop.
