Webs is an exploration of texture characterized by the expanding and contracting of melodic lines within a polyrhythmic soundscape. Within each of the four cyclical textures that shape the form of the work, each instrument weaves its own path to its destination. While each path and destination is unique, the composite goal remains the same as every instrument plays an equal part in contributing to the web-like textures that give the piece its title.
